The sea is not a stage where operations take place. It is the territory that makes them possible. At the Mar Adentro program, we understand the Blue Pact as a way of relating to the sea, the underwater territory, and coastal communities.
More than an isolated initiative, it is a compass that guides operational, environmental, and corporate decisions.
The sea as a partner, not as a resource
For a long time, the relationship with the sea was built on economic logic. That perspective is no longer sufficient. Today, the sea is recognized as a subject of rights and a living, finite system that sustains not only economies, but also cultures and ways of life.
Accepting it as a partner means reducing impacts, preventing damage, and understanding that every decision and action has an effect that extends beyond the dock or the barge.
For us, sustainability is a strategic commitment to ensure that communities and industries endure responsibly over time.
Partnerships that turn commitment into action
Together with Amigos del Mar, we participate in direct care actions for beaches, mangroves, and coastal communities, contributing to and raising awareness of environmental preservation initiatives and the social and sports development of the children and youth of Tierra Bomba Island.
In partnership with Mares Club Puerto, we also support sports, education, and well-being as tools for social transformation.
We believe in consistency more than isolated gestures. Therefore, this commitment is expressed through sustained actions throughout the year.
- Presence and volunteering in the territory.
- Financial and in-kind support for social and environmental initiatives.
- Raising awareness of community leaders who are already building solutions.
Through these partnerships, we support community processes that strengthen capacities, promote opportunities, and reinforce the bond between people and the sea as a space of identity and future.
